Reading Kristen Stewart's and Rupert Sanders "CHEATING" Images Through Mark Tansey's Paintings

THE KEY - MARK TANSEY

THE INNOCENT EYE - MARK TANSEY
In this painting, “a cow stands in front of Paulus Potter’s The young Bull,1647, now at the Mauritshuis, the Hague, while the human experts wonder if the cow can distinguish artifice from reality.” (Metropolitan Museum) The painting is monochromatic, which is his unique and primary painting style. It seems that Tansey used realism in describing an experiment about whether the bull could tell the reality, but actually it is not realism. The audiences themselves are also in the experiment, and the experts want to see our reactions about the painting, which is what we think the cow will do: respond to the Bull or to Monet's Haystack on the right.
(blue my change and addition)
Actually the painting is in response to the very old story told by Baudrillard for one:
There was/is a contest for the best

Trompe l'oeil

 illusion painting.
The two finalist artists revealed their paintings to the judges. In one the berries were so realistic that birds came through the windows to eat them. Who could top that!
The other artist was told to move the curtain aside so the judges could observe the painting.
The curtain was the painting.

One painting could fool birds (innocent eyes), but the other could fool judges.

THE SCANDAL: Follow the Money Trail! It's Hot!Liberty Ross WINS Bigger Than BIg

HALO Combat Evolved 2002 -
Campaign by Rupert Sanders for Bungie

REVIEWS:ONE OF THE BEST GAMES IN RECENT TIMES, ON ANY CONSOLE, BAR NONE.
2. "This is the most important launch game for any console, ever."
3. "Microsoft created the Xbox so we could have games like HALO."
4. "...HALO's single-player game is worth picking up an Xbox for alone."

About Bungie:

"Bungie was founded in 1991 with two goals: to develop games that combine brilliant technology, beautiful art, intelligent stories and deep gameplay, and then sell enough of those games to achieve our real goal of  total world domination."
(From Xbox manual for HALO Combat Evolved 2002) This was a Single Person Shooter Evolved to control the market. It was not expected to be a fantastic success but it was.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

HALO 1: $40 Billion sales worldwide
HALO 2: $60 Billion sales world wide
HALO 3: $120 Billion sales world wide
HALO 4:IDK
HALO 5: Just came out.

Rupert Sanders made about 1 million per year for 1,2,3. HALO 4 about 5 Million
screenshot HALO 5

HALO 5

Now here's the kicker folks!

After 10 years of selling, his contract kicks in for Centennial benefits of percentage of sales from HALO 1 on up. So we are talking about 1 to 2 Billion dollars. The 10 years were up in 2012. And what happened to Rupert in July of 2012? SCANDAL

Rupert Sanders was already married to Liberty Ross BEFORE he worked on Bungie's HALO. California is a Community Property State. 50% of assets go to each party. When they married Rupert didn't have anything much and Liberty had a lot. Liberty had a pre- nup but probably Rupert did not as he did not have anything.

But does he ever NOW!
Without the scandal Liberty Ross would get 50%. A very nice piece of change. With the Scandal she got even more. You can bet your farm on that.

Who wanted to move to California, a community property state, but which still abides by pre-nups? Who had everything to gain and nothing to lose?
Who had everything to gain by that SCANDAL and nothing to lose?
Who had a fortune to lose?
Follow the money every time!

Who is a superlative Gamer, who was not upset by the Scandal, who seemed to revel in it, who tweeted it?

What Do You Think?

I could definitely use the New Year's kiss to photoshop the car images. How about you? A slam dunk. Then get Rupert in there all blurry too.

Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders PDA Photos - Exposed as Frauds - Part 1/3

I am following the groundbreaking painter Mark Tansey's article on painting before I even knew who Tansey was.
" What we have is a dialogue where the critique of one representation is by another. Art discourse is the clash of representations."
I am critiquing the faked pictures (since they are faked we can regard them as an attempt at art) through the representations of a different painting, in this case Manet's Dejeuner: http://www.artchive.com/artchive/T/tansey.html

You see one painting through another painting which gives a deeper meaning to both of them. This is post modern thinking.

US Weekly has cropped the original images so please link for the best we have available from pop sugar. The five images below were taken by a cyber-sleuth, Lynnette-Perkes, a portrait painter, at the site. Almost every viewer has remarked that something is OFF in these images. But what is it? I am reading them through Foucault's reading of Manet's Great Paintings,
as if they were paintings
about light
#3 pop sugar
If you go to pop sugar # 3 you will see this image uncropped all the way to their feet. The sun is at the back of the woman, lighting up her hair which seems caught by a breeze making a halo around her head, the brightly lit tendrils floating in the air. The light softly etches down her right arm flexed at the elbow, her hand on her waist. A slight line of light slides down her hip and then we see a line of light at her ankle as her left leg is flexed and crossed over her right, her foot pointing down and there is a small point of shadow at her toe.

The light draws a sharp line down the profile of the man, and at his mid arm where it delineates his arm from the woman's hair. Only at his instep and heel do we see the line of light again.

The two figures are in shadow. The darker shadows are at their feet and at the right elbow of the man on the white top of the fence. All these shadows are feathery as if they are the shadows of the leaves above.
# 17 pop sugar
The oblique light now draws softly down the lower part of the man's head, falling softly on his shoulders, then down his back and left leg to etch his leg and delineate it from the sunlit background.
The feathery shadow by the man's right hand on the top of the white fence is the same as the shadow in the above image where the man is close to the fence. Now the woman is flush against it facing away from the man as he presses close into her back.

The top of the fence is bright white from the sunlight hitting it directly, perpendicular at right angles to the top of the fence.

We see then two sources of light. One source coming from behind the figures and one source cutting directly in front of them falling full on the top of the fence. If you go down to the images taken a few weeks ago at this site, the fence appears like unpainted gray, weathered wood in shadow. If you look at the 2nd image below (and please go to Gossip Cop for this commenter's own pictures as they are quite large and detailed and untouched.) The garage door to the right is the same weathered wood as the fence and is quite gray in this image. If you go to the 5th image you will see that the sun has changed position (or rather our earth) and is hitting the garage door in full sunlight and has bleached it white.

What is disconcerting about this picture is that there are two sources of light.

But we know that there are NOT 2 suns in the sky.
Clearly something is OFF and the two suns in the sky has been what has confused people without their being aware of it.

Manet - Le Dejeuner - below

The picture is split in two by the line of grass. ....you have a lighting which is a traditional lighting with a light source coming from above, from the left, which sweeps the scene, which illuminates this large meadow from the bottom, which strikes the back of the woman, which models her face...and this light comes to an end here on two clear bushes...You have, therefore, a triangular lighting which sweeps the woman's body and models her face: traditional lighting, classical lighting which leaves the relief and which is constituted by an interior light.

Luncheon On the Grass (Le Dejeuner) Manet 1863

Now, if you take the figures in front, what characterizes them is the fact that they are lit by a completely different lighting which is frontal and perpendicular, which strikes, as you see, the woman and this entirely nude body, which strikes it from directly opposite: you see that there is absolutely no relief, no modeling. The woman's body is a sort of enamel as in Japanese painting. The lighting comes only brutally and from opposite.
...the two dark jackets of these two men, are the culminating and end points of this frontal lighting, just as the two bushes here were the dazzling and culminating points of the interior lighting: an exterior lighting blocked by the bodies of two men and an interior lighting repeated by the two bushes.

These two systems of representation, or rather these two systems of manifesting light inside a picture, are juxtaposed here in this very canvas, are in a juxtaposition which gives this picture its slightly discordant character, its internal heterogeneity; an internal heterogeneity which Manet tried in a way to reduce or perhaps rather to underline - I don't know - by this hand ....which is in the middle of the picture. (Manet And The Object of Painting - Michel Foucault pp.60-62)

Le Dejeuner produced a great scandal in the Paris art world.
Top image in shadow - link for wide-screen viewing
The unpainted fence is gray, weathered, unpainted wood.
2nd Image from Top
The fence and the garage door to the right are the same gray, weathered, unpainted wood.
3rd Image From Top
Again the fence in shadow
4th Image From Top
A car at the entrance to this cul de sac road. Note the foliage here. And do link to the very large pictures where a commenter did the work that Gossip Cop pretends to do. Her name is Lynnette, she is 5' 4" just 1 " taller than Kristen Stewart, and she is a professional portrait painter, and is the figure standing by the fence to indicate her size relative to the height of the fence.
See her web page - many of her portraits are there and she lives in San Diego CA.

5th Image From Top
The sun now falls obliquely but strongly enough to bleach the garage door in the above 2nd image.

Please stay with me as I am next going to go into an extensive analysis of the photo shopping in everyone of these photographs by the fence, in order to leave you with no excuse to damn
Kristen Stewart for "cheating".
Because we all know that there are NOT 2 suns in the sky.

Now for the photoshopping part of the expose!

Reading Kristen Stewart's "CHEATING" Pictures Through the Eyes of Foucalt Reading Manet

FOUCAULT and the CUT of MANET in PAINTING

The Foucauldian Method:

Not taking a position, but following and disentangling lines....

Foucault is less interested by what the image says than by what it produces -  the behavior that it generates, and what it leaves barely seen among the social machinery in which it distributes bodies, spaces and utterances.
....strategies that confine painting, to render visible what it shows,
but equally what it conceals.

Artist:
Completion Date: c.1879
Foucault Discusses Manet's The Waitress
In effect what does this picture consist of and what does it represent? Really, in a sense, it does not represent anything in so far as it offers nothing to see. In effect, you have a total here and for a total, in this picture, this figure of the waitress which you see very close to the painter, very close to the viewer, very close to us, who has a face turned suddenly turned towards us as though a spectacle has suddenly presented itself in front of her and attracted her gaze. You see that she is not looking at what she is doing, which is putting down her beer glass, but her eye has been attracted by something that we do not see, that we do not know, which is there in front of the canvas. (p 49)

....the canvas is composed of one, two, or at the most three other figures...which we almost do not see since between them we see hardly anything but the receding profile and after that we see nothing but the hat. Rather, whoever they are looking at, they are themselves looking back at them in exactly the opposite direction. What do they see? Well, we know nothing about it, we know nothing since the picture is cut in such a way that the spectacle which is there, and by which these gazes are attracted, this spectacle is also hidden form us.

This is where Manet "breaks" with classical painting.
Always before the spectacle was also there for us to see
what the figures were looking at.

It is a picture where nothing is represented except two gazes, two gazes in two opposite directions, two gazes in the two opposite directions of the picture, recto verso and neither of the two spectacles which are actually followed with so much attention by the two figures, neither of these two spectacles is given to us; and to underline this, you have the curious irony of this little part of a hand that you see (on the left) and this small part of a dress.

...it is as though there is nothing to see, that the picture should consist of these gazes turned towards the invisible, showing nothing but the invisible....

From one part of the canvas to another, you have two spectacles which are seen by
the two figures but at its root the canvas, instead of showing what is to be seen,

hides and conceals it.(p 50)

First let us look at these 2/55 photographs  which have been included in a series of pictures in  a media manufactured Debordian world wide SPECTACLE
And let us consider them as paintings and not photographs.

What do we see?
Two figures, - in a soft out of focus shortened depth of field - a man and a woman in a heterotopian space, the front seat of a car.
The one at the top  shows the back of a woman's head facing away from us looking at something we cannot see.
The clearest focus is the outside of the car, the handle of the car door and the pinpoint of sun reflected there. The light coming from outside the painting falls on the lower half of her back.
.
The upper part of the man's face  is positioned looking over her shoulder, gazing at something obliquely outside this heterotopian space, this space in western culture, the front seat of a car, a place outside of all places, a place of separation.
He seems to be looking at us, but not quite. We cannot be sure at what he is looking as his face and eye is also out of focus.
The horizontals and diagonals are in clear sharp focus. The upper silver edge of the door of the car descends from left to right sloping to the edge of the raised window, its framing and the framing of the door, the separation between the two a dark black that continues a sensuous curve around the door closure continuing down to the lower part where we observe at the bottom a reflection of what is behind, but there is nothing there. Nothing for him to see and nothing for us to see. A gaze focused on the empty landscape.

Strangely enough it is a very beautiful photograph if observed through the eyes of Foucault. The verticals and horizontals  interrupted by diagonals draw your eye away from the two figures in shadow and out of focus in a shortened depth of field, almost as if they are there along for the ride, almost as if they are ghosts.

The lower picture has obviously been cropped and cropped stupidly and crudely. The play of the horizontal and vertical lines with the intersecting diagonals has been cut off on all four outside edges. The primary focus now is on the two figures inside the car, the heterotopian space here, in shadow. The figure of the woman is lower now.  The sunlight coming from outside the painting is falling on her shoulder, but not quite to the top of it,  which is in shadow, and it is falling on her back.

We see more of the man's face and in this lower image his eye that was opened above is now closed. It is as if the painter drew a darker line across it and his mouth is so shadowed we cannot tell if he is touching her with his lips, is about to, is withdrawing, as the focus is too blurred for us to know. too deep in shadow for anything but speculation. We cannot see if her eyes are closed, if she is looking at something, if she is looking at him, as her gaze is invisible to us.

Since we know that these are not paintings by someone influenced by Manet, but perhaps are photographs by someone with that sensibility. There is a lovely quality about them, a haunting illusion not unlike that moment Michelangelo invokes as he has God extending his hand with pointed finger towards Adam to touch him with life, with just a hair of a gap between, an almost but not quite touch, a whisper away from bestowing life.(Leo Steinberg)

Liberty Ross Movie Offers Pour In After Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart Scandal: Report

Kristen Stewart's affair pays off big time for Liberty Ross (Video)

New Interview With Kristen Stewart Proves That This Publicity Stunt Is Her Way Of Giving Hollywood The Middle Finger-Jenni Maier
J
JMai

Well the interview from Little White Lies doesn't prove anything but Maier uses it as a jump off platform for her speculations which are interesting, but still just speculation.
The Rashomon Effect OK.

I must say I am intrigued.

When the news first broke that she got caught openly cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders by a perfectly-positioned paparazzi, I got suspicious. How could an actress who’s so aware of her popularity and so invested in her privacy get photographed kissing another man at a popular location.

Almost immediately, I thought this entire scandal reeked of a PR stunt and as anyone who’s been to Crushable in the past month knows, I’m a blogger possessed. Yes, I’m obsessed with figuring out every last detail about how planned it, who knew about it and who’s making money off of it. So far everything’s going to the plan I envisioned in my head. - Jenni Maier

This article at Crushable produced hundreds of comments and some of them are very intelligent. These people are good detectives. US Weekly is known for its uneducated, married middle aged and older housewives with prurient tastes.
They are contemptuous of their readers and make no attempt to edit their articles to ensure that pictures are current with their stories or that their facts do not contradict each other. "Those cunts will never notice. We can say what we want so sue us you can't take a joke!"

Interesting comments of many very interesting ones:

Ana Bastow: We went to the site!!!
We live about an hour away, and over the weekend decided to check it out. Took a while to get down the street, but we did it.
We stood where the "paps" where, and I do have to say that there is NO WAY they couldn't see them. It's a street! There are shrubs all along one side of the road (Where Kristen's car is.), and on the other side is a house. The side with the house is the side where the railing is, and past the railing are a few more shrubs, and another house.
A little ways up past more houses is another railing where you can see in the far distance the Hollywood Sign. It's far though.
The area where the PAPS where the road splits in two, and there is open space (Grass.) in the middle. Nowhere to really hide!

Ana Bastow: The thing that niggles at me is that she had

to have known that pappos were probably around --

because they ALWAYS are with her. She's been so

media savvy --both she and RP have. Kept everyone

guessing about their relationship, kept their private lives

completely under wraps. Then when the scandal broke,

they both managed to disappear like so much smoke, and

NO ONE got a single snap of them during that time. It

was only when they wanted to be photographed that new

    images emerged.

My point is, she's no fool when it comes to being aware

of media and photographers (nor is RP, for that matter).

So I have a hard time believing she simply lost her head

and 'forgot' about the likelihood of pappos being around

when she and Rupert met up.

What I'm confused about is why she let the episode continue, knowing she was being photographed. Maybe she just didn't give a rip. Maybe she set it up herself. Maybe she thought she could smooth things over and keep them from becoming public. Or--and this is an uncomfortable speculation -- maybe she simply had no choice.
I can think of a bunch of arguments against the first two, The second two seem more plausible to me. But then, there may be other reasons and possibilities none of us has yet thought of.
I'll say it again; I don't necessarily agree with Jenni's entire theory on this event, but something about it is off. Way off.

Hey Robsten Cuteness :) • 5 days ago • parent

I am just curious...
someone told me the pictures of the event were all mixed up when sent out to make it look worse than what it was.
I was told this is the order the photos were taken: http://p.twimg.com/Ayx8_U3CAAA...
When looking at them in this order I can see how it is staged.
That he called her to meet up, he walked, waited by the fence, made a move on her from behind, she pushed him a way/pulled away, went back to her car, he asked for a ride back, he went in for a smooch (if you look at that bottom photo of him going in for a kiss he has his eye open LOOKING at the camera) she is pushed against the door of the car, when she saw the camera she threw a hat that she had with her on, and drove off in a hurry. ???????
I have seen Kristen's face when she is loved/in love/wanting, but the look on her face in these pics look of confusion, and ext. Not of someone loving/liking what is happening.

Irish Girl : Absolutely. The story the photogs. gave to US which they published, is NOT evidenced in the photos.
Photogs said They were making out by fence post and would break apart and walk in different directions when someone walked by. Where are those photos? Would they not be pertinent to publish?
Also, photogs said Kristen dropped off Rupert near his home and they kissed more before he leaves her car.
Why did they not capture this and only have Rupert walking away solo???

  • Denise • 3 days ago
she is simply driving hollywood crazy with the PR stunt and this is one way she is giving them the middle finger (since they can act,why not act for the paparazzi and fans?^_^)

    jennt • 5 days ago • parent

nena: Yes, US did publish the first pics and the stories. Pop Sugar got the exclusives on her post-scandal pictures. The paps story that US published doesn't add up. "Cyber sleuths" have found that the pictures at the guardrail are on a residential street (Pacific View Drive) not a trail overlooking Hollywood and it is not secluded at all. If you google earth it you can see there are very few places for a pap to hide, let alone one that followed you up a twisty, winding road (remember, by this time, according to the story, the original pap had called for and gotten four back-up photographers.
The magazine claims as they arrived at the overlook, after Rupert directs her where to park:

“ By then it was 5:15 PM and the two stayed in the car...when it seemed quiet in the park, the two dared to leave the car to take in the view. Leaning against the guard rail, he embraced her from behind ...‘A few people would walk by, and as soon as they heard a voice, they would split up and walk in other directions.’ When a group of people with a dog came along, the two RETREATED TO HER CAR TO KISS FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES before leaving’’. If the pap is hiding and using a telephoto lens, how did he know the two would "hear" a voice and split up (should be too far away). Also, her car is parked up against an embankment - how could he get in the passenger door? THEN she drives him home, lets him out, and there's a final kiss, but there is absolutely no picture of that.
How'd Rupe get there? Paps say Kristen waited for him for 15 minutes and then he gets in the car; however, there are no pictures of this at all.
Paps claim rupe was kissing her all over her body, but there are no pictures of that.
Paps claim that they drove all over LA looking for places to make out, but pics are only from two places - the guardrail and the parking lot. This is proved because in every parking lot picture you can see the same building reflection in it. There's more - don't want to bore anyone who's not interested so let me know if you have other questions. Not trying to sound like an insider or anything, it's just an odd mystery to me.

KS didn't break RP trust. He's in on it. They all are. It'll all come out at some point and they know their real fans will support their brave tactics, hollywood will know they are not to be messed with, critics will be impressed they actually had the balls and the media will be played the fools that (some outlets) have a tendancy to be. It's also probably a lesson to all in quit getting so invested in the lives of people you have no business in and get out there and play the leading part in your own lifes script. No - I'm not so sure they planned on the backlash that KS created. Pretty extreme and fascinating to watch. Can't wait to see what the next move is. Well played all. Well played.

      lizzy • 16 hours ago • parent

nena: Their storytelling is part of the stunt, and the stunt is orchestrated by Kristen Stewart et al - no authentic sleaze, just a game being played out in gossip columns to achieve certain desired results, whatever they are...

Let's pretend you're famous and you're out one night with friends, hubby is somewhere else, all is well in your life. But you're wearing these gorgeous new shoes, and you trip holding a cocktail....and a random guy catches you. Next day headlines scream "Nena's drunk, caught out with mystery man" and that you're drinking because marriage is in trouble....blah blah blah. Then it can grow from there. Is it true? Doesn't Kristen and crew know very very well how this whole gossip crap works and know how to play it to create whatever illusions they are trying to create? It's all B.S. And the public eats it up. Not a word is said from any of the key players - they can just step out with a ring or without it like Rupert and Liberty and the stories just roll along (with a little help from "sources").
      That's my rambling for tonight!

Irish Girl • 6 days ago • parent

Here's the interesting thing to ponder, and it's the detail that raised a big red flag to me, saying "something's not right". Look at the photos of them at the outdoor area again. And look very closely at HOW her Mini is parked. It's facing forward, with the headlamps towards the cameras.
If the pappos had been FOLLOWING her, there's no way they would have gotten a photo from that angle. The only way to do that is to be waiting in a specific spot, knowing you'll get a clear shot at your target.

    • someone • 6 days ago
I find it convenient that Us weekly was tipped off about the cheating, and on the very first day of assignment, the pap caught KS & RS. But the following days that the pap was following her, never caught her again with RS, which strongly points to the idea that it was a one time thing. Also, for Us weekly to assign a pap on her ass, the tipster should be someone very reliable, in the know, which points to the wife LR, since she's showing very odd behavior for a scorned woman. If this was a PR stunt, then it would make sense for the wife to be the one to tip the tabloid magazine, because it would be more believable.
Here's my latest interpretation on That Afternoon.
And it changes all the time!

Rupert and Liberty have talked about divorce? Liberty wants name recognition. Having been a high fashion model she knows all about this. Liberty thinks he is infatuated with Kristen (she lobbied for Kristen to get the part you know) and maybe thinks Kristen is also? She knows - suspects? - he is going to meet Kristen or maybe he tells her? SHE alerts the paps and when she gets the news, tweets "wow" and "Good things fall apart so better things can come together."

Here's  the Snow White pic attributed to her but it is in doubt. Credible that she did it? Hell yes! A great image for her to have tweeted. Then she waits for the fallout.

Did Rupert want to disrupt robsten? Maybe Kristen did too? Maybe she met him to talk biz stuff and then he made moves? He's a sexy, good looking, smart, accomplished man. I can see why she would be attracted.

From the comments of someone who went there to spec the place out, it is a residential street. Not a secluded park as US Weekly would have us believe. No place to hide. Did Rupert say, "See there are no papz around, we can see all around us. So Kristen is not worried. She can see no one is there. And it is very close to where Sanders lives.

Does Liberty look upset to you?
      Does Sanders?

What if Sanders placed a hidden camera in the location or what if Liberty did and then he walked to where he knew it would be. Maybe there were no papz? Maybe a go-between  sold the pics?

Does she gets caught? Do her people probably try to buy them so she has a couple of days? Maybe she tells Rob right away? Maybe she doesn't?  When it hits she sees lots of possibilities in it and goes with the flow.

Now she is seen as a seductress. That's good. Robsten disappears. That's good. So if Rob knows, and expects this storm that is coming, he can see the advantages. Cosmopolis, additional offers, etc if he plays it just right.

So it's an unexpected nuisance, but it has its good points for sure.

Did Rupert know? Maybe, maybe not. I am thinking he did because the pics are just off as far as he is concerned. He looks directly into the camera in a few.  Maybe he just wanted it both ways? Her and a divorce. ???? Name recognition? All of the above, some of the above?

But both Kristen and Rob could see how to make lemonade from it. I can see her going home and telling him what happened and then planning a strategy? No need of a planned strategy from beginning to end.

If readers have any additional ideas please post them in the comments. I'll probably have changed my speculations by later today.
